Our soon to be arrival's room is ready!

At almost 37 weeks pregnant, the nursery is ready and looking AMAZING thanks to The Great Little Trading Company and @theordinarylovely's awesome blogging skills and eye for design. We wanted a nursery that was neutral, that we could add pops of colour too once we found out the sex, but didn't want to compromise on detail. I love the star design paired with the zig zag of the rug and storage baskets. See what you think...

The clothes rail is my absolute FAVOURITE piece in the nursery! His little outfits are way too cute to be hidden away in a wardrobe, I have pretty much all of his newborn clothes on the rail and love the idea that when he grows up, tomorrows outfit can be hung out ready for him to get changed (about 12 years away yet?).

Being our first child, we had no baby books and with 2 beautiful book shelves to fill, my husband and I reminisced one night about our favourite books as a child and went Amazon crazy!!

So nursery is ready, I've complained for the last couple of months about feeling like i've been pregnant forever but truth is, the thought of having a baby in our house over the next few weeks is just surreal! A part of me feels like it's not going to happen and i'm not mentally prepared for labour. I have 6 hours of prenatal classes tomorrow so maybe that will help. Did anyone else feel the same with their first? I hope this isn't a sign something bad is going to happen.
