December so far for me has comprised of mostly eating and sleeping. Christmas coming up is the best excuse to eat too much, drink too much, spend too much isn't it?
My husband booked us into Bryn Williams at Port Eirias for a 'light lunch' but as we were seated in the most festive seats next to the Christmas tree and handed the 'festive menu' our plans changed slightly.
Reading the festive menu suddenly made us ravenous and so, a 3 course meal it was. Rob had the chicken liver parfait and I had the butternut squash soup which I enjoyed so much, Rob pointed out later, I didn't offer him a taste as I usually do.
The restaurant sits on the edge of the beach with views on Rhos on Sea & The Great Orme and stunning sunsets on the horizon. The interior is beautiful, modern and tasteful with an impressive bar paired with an equally impressive cocktail list.
I'm quite a picky eater but found myself even loving the sprouts in this place and the roast potatoes were just ... (where's the dribbling emoji!?). If you're lucky, Bryn Williams will be on hand in the kitchen (and he actually DOES go there unlike other celebrity chefs).
Already pleasanty satisfied, we couldn't resist a baked alasca and a warm brownie with salted caramel ice cream (who could?), not a crumb was left. It's the perfect place for a date night, a catch up with friends or treating family for a cosy lunch.
